General Comments

Having read these reviews for Dilly Dots Tots I wish I had done so before ordering anything. As with other reviewers I placed an order than never materialised. This was for a Le Toy Van airshow and a haba book with a combined price of over £50 and so free delivery which is why I ordered from there.
I specifically stated on the order that it was for a birthday present and was required by the following Friday (20th March). It states on the websirte " When ordering please advise if you have a specific date when you require your order (e.g. birthday etc) so we can ensure it reaches you on time." and "Orders in stock are usually dispatched within 2 working days but please allow up to 5 working days during busy periods for us to dispatch your order. If there is a problem with your order we will contact you via email or telephone to resolve any delays." Clearly neither of these statements are true.

On two out of the very rare occasions someone answered the phone they said they would "phone back in 10 minutes". This never happened and I must have spent about £10 in mobile phone charges trying to get in touch whilst also trying to do my job. Obviously when you have spent over £50 you want, at the very least, to get your money back!

They eventually rang and said I Should make sure I was at home the next day as the order would be delivered before 12. Having rearranged my work surprise, surprise it never turned up. 2 1/2 weeks after ordering they finally provided me with a bogus tracking number which DHL informed me was for a package sent by a motor spares company in Surrey!

Finally, after a long winded email to the nonexistent customer service informing them that consumer laws mean they have to refund if the order hasn't arrived by 30 days, and 3 1/2 weeks after they had taken my money, I got a refund.

This is the worst online purchasing experience I have ever had. The customer service is non-existent and it seems as though they are taking you for a ride.
