a tad slow in raw editing , a 200x cf is nice but the camera uses only 44x speed
General Comments
The Canon Eos 300D aka Kiss Or Digital Rebel is perhaps now (2009) a outdated camera , but that doesn't mean it is capable of good results.
First a WARNING :
My first "rebel" had a HACKED firmware when bought, the second one it's successor is still and will be still using a original firmware , why because the hacked firmware had so many new options ? you mihgt ask.. yes there are more options but more posibilites doesn't necessairily turn out to better pictures!
so my advise is stay on the canon firmware it is less spectacular but at least it does work (i have seen a lot things that didn't do the things it should with hacked firmware..!
this model (i am talking about the canon eos 300 D aka the europe verison of the Kiss and Digital Rebel WITH the 18-55 EF-S f1:3.5-5.6 kitlens in silver is still a good to very good camera.. ok compaired with modern 12 MP dlsr's it is outdated but who in BOG 's name has a pc monitor where he or she can view a 6.3 MP 100% crop ??
