Good Points

Edward Turner would be proud of the new Hinckley 865 Bonneville. It does everything well, does not exceed in any particular feature, but excels as a completely coordinated package.

Bad Points

120 miles before reserve is 80 miles too short for me, but that's a personal comment, not a complaint. I like three hour riding breaks, rather than two hour, because it takes me a hour to relax into the ride.

General Comments

I bought my black and gold Triumph Bonneville T100 865cc, 2006 model at one year old, 420 miles on the clock. She has fork gaiters, a GIVI 660 screen, heated bars, tank knee pads, centre stand, a thunderbird seat and rear rack with grab rail. All were fitted by the original owner and included in the trade-in for my Transalp.
Being 54 years old, had bikes since 14, passed my advanced test, currently also owning a 72 Daytona and MT 350 Harley, having done several cross continent rides, owned many Jap/BMW/HD bikes, I think I can comment from a point of knowledge. This is the best bike ever made.
