Good Points

Free, Almost no bandwidth loading on songs, MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of songs/artists, legal, lightweight, AWESOME!!


Bad Points

Cannot download the songs onto your pc, if on free version you have to listen to 30 sec adverts every 20 mins or so.

But to be honest... these things are needed to run the business and keep it legal


General Comments

First of all can I just say, what an amazing idea Spotify is??

Spotify enables you to listen to almost any music you like as long as you are connected to the internet. If you have the free version every 20 mins or so you will hear a 30 second advert (which sounds like a radio ad) which personally is no problem and is how Spotify is legal and has free music. You can pay 99p for 24 hours of no adverts or £9.99 a month subscription for no adverts at all.

When you find an artist Spotify will display their top 5 hits, most/all of the artists albums (including compilation ones) and popularity ratings on all of the songs. The Songs/Albums can be dragged into your playlists for you to keep and have a huge data base like on Itunes or similar programs.

A Spotify App for the Iphone is currently underway

Spotify is free, great and legal! The music quality is perfect and the database of songs is updated by 10,000+ songs a day. New albums are also released when they come out.
