I dont think Wyevale Garden Centre is a bad garden centre, but its not my favourite.

I go to the one in Windmill Lane, Isleworth mostly. I dont like the way that you have to go through the whole store to exit - its a bit like going to Ikea, ie you can't just nip in the front door and exit the same way, you have to go all the way round the centre and through the tills to escape.

Also, I dont like the range of products they have - I've never been to a garden centre for example that doesnt stock Hozelock hose accessories, they only stock Gardena (whats all that about?)

The plants seem reasonable, but again the choice of things like fencing is quite poor.

The staff seem good enough - quite friendly and there's often someone on the front gate with some sort of promotional offer or looking to give you advice (the different between a big chain like this and some of the small family run outfits I guess - ie these guys are more sophisticated with their marketing)

When I go though I tend to leave dissapointed and wish that Id gone to Squires in Twickenham (see my other reviews) which is what Im tending to do now

So, all in all I wouldn't bother going unless its your local and its a pain to go to one further away, in which case it does the job, but it wont excite you!
