I have recently purchased a second hand GPR 125 needs a few bits doin to it - brake pads new chain and sprockets etc, wasnt very well looked after but thought id have it as a project as i cant ride it yet, hasnt covered 3000 miles yet on the clock but i reckon its had the speedo replaced at some point judging by the general condition of mechanical parts either that or its been consistantly neglected and thrashed, doesnt worry me too much but it does seem to need a lot of warming up before it can pull away (and choke lol) and smokes like hell, more than a 2 stroke should. Im hoping someone could give me some advice on the oil mixture on the carb and wether i should adjust it, the bike will start fine no problem put its hard for it to tick over on cold with the choke on (and off) im hoping a good service may sort it out. Changing the subject it still accelerates like hell and sounds quite nice with the revs up (for a 2 stroke) havent been able to get it past 55 at the minute but when its all polished up and ready for me to ride on the road im guessing i could get 80mph, its been fitted with a Giennelli power pipe.
