Good Points

Simple to use, delayed timer very usefull, Easy to clean

Bad Points

Paddle sticks in bread and at times makes it difficult to remove loaf. Spindle drive has ceased a couple of times and has been released by soaking for hours. It has stuck again and dispite soaking doesn't want to budge. I may have to buy a new pan or new machine as spares don't seem to be available??????
2lb loafs collapsing.
Recipe book.

General Comments

I have been using the Morphy Richards 48280 about 4 times a week for the past 6 months. At first I followed recipes in booklet and although most were edible results were very inconsistent even though I am carefull to measure ingredients accurately.
A 2 lb loaf always seem to collapse just before cycle is finish so I only make 1.5lb now.
I have had far more success using 500 g bread mixes which I use 250g + 100g of white or wholemeal bread flower and adjust water accordingly.
II have used this method with Wright's, Tesco's, Asda's and Hovis bread mixes and all give similar results.
This is my first breadmaker.
