Good Points

Honest - gave me what I needed and weren't pushy
Good value - over £80 off Norton and Office together
Very helpful and friendly - advised me to get the right laptop


Bad Points

Bit scruffy looking
Store wasn't overly great looking - needs a refurb like the Fareham store

General Comments

I went into Currys in Hedge End to look for a laptop, as my previous one was dying (BSoD). I was greeted on entry, but not approached straight as happens in a lot of stores. After a few minutes of looking, I was approached and asked what brought me to Currys, bit of a stupid question but I guess it helped as I said replacing my laptop and the conversation flowed from there.

I ended up walking out with an Acer 8730G, reduced as it came off display as end of line. I took the cover, I agreed with them that it was well worth it as all accidental damage is covered, and also got Norton 360 and Office 2007, great value at less than £80.

Don't need anything else right now, but I would definitely go back there, I've been into PC World next door and had some appalling service, but thats another story lol.

Basically, I haven't seen any of the stuff everyone else seems to say about in store, but I guess thats what happens when you deal with ordering online and don't bother to go to a store, but maybe I was just lucky (I'm hoping its the first one though).
