Lots of effort for very little results

see General comment - plus the collection chute to the bag is constantly getting clogged or twisted resulting in stopping to re-orient the collector to a different position or shaking the tube to clear it.
General Comments
The major flaw in this is that the blades are in an enclosed housing that you have to come down on the ends of the shrub with rather than a sweeping motion as the instructions suggest. The round shape of the housing pushes the very things you are trying to trim out of the way of the cutting blade.
I got more done with hand hedge clippers than this thing!
