Bad Points

Takes time to get familiar with fitting it properly (but that should be the case with all child car seats).
When it needs washing, removing and replacing the cover is quite a pain (3 times in 3 years, so not a deal-breaker).
Two screws worked loose after a year and I had to pick them up off the floor and replace them myself.


General Comments

Once fitted, we find the Maxi Cosi Tobi Booster Car Seat stays in place very firmly.
The spring-open straps make it easy to get the child in.
The red/green tension indicator is helpful, though I usually pull the straps tighter than the indicator shows is necessary.
Easy to recline. Even with the seat behind the driver, it's possible to reach behind at the traffic lights and recline the seat. Because the seat reclines seperately from the base, it stays firmly fitted, unlike others we've tried in friends' cars. Our son has been in this seat for almost 3 years now and we've been very happy with it. We have peace of mind that he is (at least appears to be) well protected in comparison to many seats owned by friends and family.
