Good Points

New style exec lodges feel quite luxurious and have wi-fi
Amazing choice of activities, favourites were the falconry and the Aqua Sana. Time out club is excellent too.
Overall, the general ambience of the place and the wildlife is impressive and very relaxing

Bad Points

Poor choice of TV channels
Poor signage on way to and from the car park
Big Quiz - don't bother unless you are expert in entertainment / celebs
Our fridge door didn't close.
Food - it's not terrible, but it doesn't really fit with the overall standard of the place. Ironically, the best food seems to be from the takeaway menu.

General Comments

Spent four days at CP Longleat. It IS expensive during school holidays but we really did feel we got our money's worth. Amazing variety of activities which do bump up the cost but many are unique. We did not overuse the time out club for our 5 year old but the two sessions he did, he absolutely loved. We paid for being in the central area and for the newer accommodation which must have been worth it as some of the reviews suggest a tattiness which we did not see. All bedrooms were ensuite with walk-in power showers, one had a whirlpool bath. The kitchen was very well appointed with a dishwasher and a wine cooler! Daily maid service was fine. We did not hire bikes, prefering to walk as it's so hilly, I think unless you are fairly fit or an experienced cyclist, walking is a better option. We were gutted to leave and have booked to come back later in the year.
