Good Points
Highly popular, well rated and light on resources, no slow downs at all.

Bad Points
The crunch.... My Premium trial was a trial in itself in getting the activation code this was supposed to be in 2 hours of payment being accepted. it took me almost a day and a half... I Emailed, this and Emailed that and blogged, my Emails remained unanswered, I Emailed Head Office and Cleverbridge directly with all the details .... hey presto the 25 digit code arrived within the hour - a coincident I think not!


Should anything go wrong there is no concise clear instructions nor addresses, you'll have to root and toot.

General Comments
Avira 9 is a highly rated anti virus program, light on resources and well popular... I had problems but not with the software.

Note: the free version doesn't scan Emails.
