Good Points

Once I could have listed lots of good points but they have been eroded and now I sadly cant think of any.


Bad Points

The alarming decline in standards and product competitiveness - seems to be linked by their rapid expansion swallowing up other building societies.


General Comments

After years of being a loyal customer of Nationwide and very happy the last few years has seen a consistent and sad decline in customer service and in fact the products are less competitive too. For example the free overseas use of a credit card is on the way out. Interest on cheque account is now tired dependent upon income and the once brilliant e-savings account is a sad example of its former self.
