General Comments
i am a pro gardener so the Mountfield SP470 mower gets much more sustained use than it is intended for.overall i'm pleased,the engine is sound(oil changed regularly) and starting reliable.the chassis build quality is poor.the front wheels have started to wobble,and the red plastic start handle recently snapped off.the engine is only 3.5bhp,so will not push long/wet grass through to the box very efficiently.i'm upgrading to a honda,husqvarna or hayter.i reckon its fair value for money,if you get 2-3 years use out of it,or more if you are a domestic user.
