the sandy park by the queen vic pub.


Bad Points

everything, not realy buggy freindly, big steps and narrow paths.


General Comments

We went to pontins on a Sun holiday for a mon to fri break...we left on wednesday as we were not prepared to put up with the grime for any longer, so glad to get home. When booking in dont expect to get a buggy or wheelchair upstairs into the booking room and entertainment centre because you are not allowed to use the lift????? This was the start of something bad lol, the room smelled of dogs and Urine. There was mould behind the headboards of all the beds which made me ashamed as a parent to let my child sleep in the bed next to it,,,, which might i add housed some serious spiders with cobwebs similar to old horror films hanging from lights and walls, upon entering the chalet, which was the top accomodation, our skin crawled at the total uncleanlilness of the whole place, within minutes of putting our 10 month old son on the floor his legs were black from dirt in the carpet, when i wiped up some water left on the kitchen floor from the cleaner, the towel i used turned black, overall it was really poor,,,, we did not expect the ritz and we certainly did not get it. The apparently "Fully Landscaped" acommodation is extremley basic, this was too much to stomache.
The rest of the facilities were of equal poor standard, the swimming pool looked vile, there were no changing facilities and people were going half ready and stripping off to swimming gear at poolside, bags were everywhere. the general design is very 1960s.
