clothes not clean, doesnt spin, wrinkles clothes, expensive, takes over an hr to wash. smelly mold


General Comments

I purchased a maytag neptune tl washer/ dryer 5 years ago. I thought that paying 2,000 for a set i would get what i paid for. Was I wrong. from the begining the the clothes came out completly twisted and wrinkled. then the smelly mold around the edges started, and the clothes didnt seem very clean for washing for over an hour. now it wont spin it stops with a error at 12 min left. after reading this its seems this is a pretty comon complaint. so i had a repair man out today . he says that the problem is the control board. wich will cost 450.00 to fix and will take nearly 3 weeks to get because maytag/whirlpool are trying to completly get rid of this model. i am so upset i will nbever buy a maytag nor will i pay to have this fixed.. i would be glad to join a clas action against maytag for this issue

    I am having the same problem. After washing, the clothes still smells dirty and it stops with 10 mins left and has a error on the panel. It vibrant violently and scares everyone. I thought I was getting a decent product two years ago, but now I will be out of more money to get a new machine when a washer should last a lot longer than two years.
