1st of all training only last 3 days taking the test on the 4th day. You have to train with a second trainee so u do driving in turns. If u fail the 1st time sterling charges u £400 for retest. When u pass u have to take CPC course to move on to C+E which is impossible for me.
It is like a law book. If i was clever enough to do that course i wouldnt be going for a lorry licence. Nobody explained to me what CPC was. If they did there is no way i would train with sterling! Now i called and complained.
When i failed the first time i went to another company called by-pass. Taking the test with them cost me only £245, saved £155. Their training is much better. 3 hours training cost u only £140 and you dont have to train with an other trainee. With sterling i only drove like 2.5 hours a day. For 2.5 hours you have to be present at the arranged training company at 8am and finish around 3pm. As i said during this time you are only allowed to drive like 2.5 hours. I failed the first time not because i was a bad driver because i didnt get enough driving behind the wheel.
