I traveled with United Airlines during my Spring Break on April 4th and after arriving at my destination and unpacking, I noticed there was a NOI (Notice of Inspection) placed in my checked baggage. I also noticed that my CHI ceramic hair straightener and CHI hair blow-dryer were missing from my luggage. I contacted customer service and reported it as well as filled out their "Missing Property Questionnaire" and to this date have not heard back from United Airlines. I had to go out and repurchase the straightener and blow-dryer at a cost to me of over $250. It is a very frustrating and disappointing. I will not be flying United in the future. Learned a very important lesson - do not pack valuables in your checked luggage - pack them in your carry-on!!
