Bad Points

Broke their contract by failing to notify me before debiting me with an increased subscription fee.
60p per minute tech support line.
Charge £19.95 for mail forwarding which was previously free.


General Comments

I inherited breathe.com when they took over my current ISP who I had been with for years and had provided a reliable service. The standard of service immediately declined and a 60p per minute charge was imposed on the tech helpline. A subscription increase of over 40% was made without any prior warning, which violated the terms and conditions of contract. I cannot find anywhere on their website a postal address to contact to cancel my contract with them and get a refund. Breathe.com went bankrupt in 2000 before being rescued. They will need to improve their service if they do not want to end up the same way again.
