Good Points
I have used the residue of my large tub as a paint remover and its marvelous especially with ackward profiles.

Bad Points
Exceptionally hard dirty work scrapping off using a short scraper.

General Comments
There must be different grades of Artex as i used a complete large tub to remove artex from a ceiling 4.2 x 3.8 M. On time i would say 4 x 12 hour days.

I dare say it would be longer, dirtier and even harder work if you'd used only a nail file! A wide blade. long arm scraper is the correct tool for the job.
