Good Points

Staff were helpful and friendly & food was plentiful although very limited variety. Breakfasts were good except for watery porridge and scrambled egg.


Bad Points

For 14 nights we were trapped on what seemed to be a motorway services. The entertainment was very average. Drinks, incl water, were expensive. We had to pay to use the "collar & tie" restaurant and there was not enough variety in other restaurants. Very small swimming pool.


General Comments

Ocean Village Cruises was our first cruise and was not good. Too much Asian food - not enough variety. Due to engine trouble we were not able to call in to Madera and had to spend 7 days solid on the ship without a break. People who had done cruises with other lines said "don't be put off by this cruise" and "It is the worst line they had used after many years of cruising". It was advertised as "The Cruise For People Who Don't Do Cruises" they should add "ANY MORE"
