Firstly, please let me apologise if I am going to scare anyone about their booking at Belle Vue Apartments. I was very worried and anxious when I read other people's reviews myself. However, I feel that you need to know about this god awful place.....

Where to start? We arrived after waiting in reception for at least 3/4's of an hour. The corridor leading to the rooms was not lit properly and we felt that we were in a council block of flats. Got in our room to find that it was FREEZING!!!!!!!! There was one blanket on the bed and a spare. The two blankets did not make any difference and I woke up a few times that night so so cold! (No heating) Not a good way to start the holiday! (If you are going in the summer, the opposite will be true as there is no air con).

The room itself was fairly clean. But VERY basic! Would have been good in the 70's. The lamp shade was hanging off in the bedroom and the patio door was smashed in one corner of it. It also did not lock. Not good at all!

In the morning we went to explore and have breakfast. All I can say is that it really is like eating with a bunch of rude animals that push their way to the front and grab as much food as they can pile on their plates. There is not enough room for all the guests and you either have to queue up outside the dining room for 10 mins or so, or queue up inside to get your food. It is a disgusting nightmare!

Moving on to the bars ' . My god, a nightmare! The pool bar was sheer grot and surrounded by people who couldn't be bothered to move their rubbish. It was disgusting! The Morocco bar was like something from the 1980's. It was full of people 'wanting to get as drunk as they could, for as long as they could, for free. There is no where on this complex to go to have a nice quiet drink that you would normally find in decent hotels.

We were given small plastic cups for any alcohol that we got. Although to be fair, my guess is that the type of British people that this place attracts could quite easily 'kick off', so I kind of don ' t blame them! I should also mention the queues for drinks. To get a drink, you have to wait at least 10-15 mins. Again, the same problem, people getting as much drink as they can rather than just having one drink each at a time.

To be honest, I could keep going on and on about how down right awful this place is, but I can't be bothered wasting any more time thinking about this holiday from hell.

If you have already booked, please change to a different hotel. If you are thinking of booking, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!
