Blue coats were fab!! They could not do enough for you. they really worked hard long hours. Entertainment was very good as well. Loved the idea of a seperate bar and in this case two bars away from the kiddies entertainment. There is only so much Captain Croc you can put up with!! Food in the resteraunt was fairly priced, about £5,00 a head and drinks were pretty reasonable about same as you would pay in pub back home. The onsite shop was pretty reasonable as well about same again as back home. The pool was ample enough, nothing special but again very well supervised and seemed clean enough to me. If your kids are nocturnal it is the place to be. there were loads of security should you have any problems. A young girl had an ashma attack a few tables away and the staff could not help her enough getting paramedics etc

The activities were pretty pricey at £5,00 a head but on a plus side the staff were fully trained and all safety equipment was used and I was fully confident they could take care of our son. Could do with somewhere to buy pizza or even a chinese as the only fast food outlet was a chippy. On a positive side there was a burger bar that stayed open more or less as long as thde bar was open !! On the other hand though a walk into Prestatyn village did reveal pizza and a chinese but a fair way to go when the munchies set in after a few bevvies!! My one big criticism was we were lead to believe it had direct access to beach. It was a good 15 minute walk!! There was an entrance at the back but was kept locked. all it needed was a sentry box and security to check us in and out!! I would not have been able to have made it if I had mobility problems but apart from this a very pleasant stay.

Pontins April 6th - 10th 2009 We were pleasantly suprised. After reading some of the reviews here I was hesitant to say the least but having only paid just over £50.00 for five days thought we would grin and bear what ever was thrown our way. If you have ever been through Sheffield rail stationj the flatson your left reminded me of this concrete jungle!! I honestly expected to find a set off "Hi De Hi" and as I say was pleasantly suprised what we found. Our chalet was clean, and definitely livable. We paid extra for a second bedroom as did not fancy using a bed setee so keep this in mind. The tv was ok, it even had a heated bath rail more than what we have at home!! The cooker was more than ample but could do with some more kitchen tools.
