have had nothing but problems with utility warehouse. was promised a 24mps broadband connection. it has never been faster than 1.2mps. very unhelpful on the phone. avoid like the plague.

You are probably connected at 24Mps if your exchange is LLU (upto 8Mps on non-LLU) but that does not guarantee the actual speed you will see at your computer, that is a function of distance from the exchange, regrettably none of us can overcome that until the company providing the "last mile" infrastructure, normally BT, improves matters. Also the speed that you actually experience will be affected by the amount of traffic that is going through the system at any point of time. All these factors are the same for all ISPs .
