Good Points

Light, High Quality open sights

Bad Points

Small stock, slightly underpowered, heavy trigger and excessive amounts of vibration on firing more than there should be.

General Comments

After owning my Webley Sport .22 for 3 years one thing became obvious, it is a brilliant starters rifle but if you want something for hunting or targets it just won't perform. I am an experienced target shooter and when i tried targets at 10m the grouping was slightly disappointing. With a Steyr I use at my club i can get groups of half to one inch with 5 shots. With this my best was around 5 inches. The trigger was the most disapointing part. I found it too heavy and the spring release mechanism was very crude. On pulling the trigger there was a extremely large vibration a lot more than i experienced when using SMK and Cometa air rifles around the same price. It is also not full power so long range shooting more than 10 -15m is really pushing it and hunting is out of question since the pellets will probably bounce off the animal.
But as a starter rifle for plinking it is brilliant. The light cocking of the break barrel means it is not a challenge for a young person to cock and the open sights are very easy to use. The gun is also very light and has a stock more suited to younger shooters again making it easier to use for young shooter.
