Good Points

some good staff members, but discounts must be approved by the managers and they're the ones that let comet down on service.


Bad Points

untrustworthy. false advertising. just look at the new samsung tv on display in store showing a split screen. the left hand side shows a really bad picture and the right hand shows a picture better than HD. The whole thing is being played on a blue ray player.


General Comments

Havng found a TV i liked, i visited comet and explained that i could get the same tv for £500 less at a shop less than 10 miles from the comet store. i was told that the 'price guarantee' was no such thing. the guarantee was in fact at the discretion of the store. not much of a guarantee....more like false advertising.

will contact office of fair trading and ask what they make of this 'guarantee' which happens to be untrue. comet 'customer services' have no idea how it works either. would have thought 'price guarantee' is exactly what it says.

anyway, be warned. <
