The pastry is lovely - crisp on top with a softer tasty layer underneath where it is in contact with the meat. The meat and gravy fillings are tasty and without fat or gristle.
Bad Points
The filling could have a littlle more meat and a little less gravy.
General Comments
I used to have the Fray Bentos steak and kidney pie when I was a child and it's great that it still tastes the same. The steak and kidney, steak and ale and beef and vegetable are the nicest ones.
