Good Points

Great sound, great power, agressive styling, reliability and good handling.


Bad Points

Mildly inadiquite steering damper, not enough on the road!!!


General Comments

I bought my Sv1000s k3 in 2004, its a run out 03 model. I must admit i'll never sell it, i've ridden several bikes since buying it even some in "racing red" and even then still find my sv to be such an enjoyable bike too ride, after several thousand kilometres I did find that a few tweeks in the front end did make the cornering a bit tighter on the uneven twisty's. I put a set of staintune pipes on it and like any other set of aftermarket pipes really lifts the sound/thrill factor. The only thing that anoys me a bit is a tendancy to get a bit wobbly at speed and the non adjustable steering damper is a bit too light, but overall I love it, the power and the feel just makes it such an enjoyable bike that even though its 6 years old now I still get excited every time I get on it.....would recomend one to anyone!
