Good Points

The history, the views, and using the walls as a vantage point (it's what they were built for after all) to plot your route around the city.

Bad Points

You need to pick your access points if you are bringing a buggy, wheelchair or have problems with steep staircases. There are ramped accesses at several points.

General Comments

At Chester Roman City Walls you're walking around mediaeval walls, built on Roman foundations, in the footsteps of our ancestors - and you can call in at all sorts of lovely shops, bars and cafes! It's about 2 miles if you do the whole walk in one go, but such are the distractions the journey could take all day - planned properly!

Don't forget the camera.
