Good Points

Build quality is excellent as the car is assembled in a Toyota managed factory in the Czech Republic. The Daihatsu derived 1litre 3 cylinder engine is first class with plenty of power and the Aisin Easy drive automated manual gearbox is truly indistinguishable in automatic mode from a conventional auto box with the additon of the "Tiptronic " style gear change option .

Bad Points

Very few other than small boot and that rear seat backs cannot fold flat to give a really good extension to the small boot. The sole lack in controls is an absence of both engine and outside temperature indicators.

General Comments

I ordered my 107 2-tronic in June 08 and waited 4 months for it as it was a special build with electronic stability programme,air-con,rear parking sensors, rev counter and curtain airbags. It has been a superb little car since I got it - easy to park and sips petrol.Low VED,and insurance costs cut running costs to the bone as does its 60mpg consumption. In town it is very nippy in traffic but is really surprisingly good on the motorway too with good acceleration for overtaking with one passenger.Performance does fall off with 3 or 4 passengers however but the car is not at a disadvantage even so.This car is the true successor to the Issigonis Mini of the 1960's with the addtitoon of everything modern technology can provide.Residuals are very good to at around 50% after 3 years. The Peugeot has higher levels of sound insulation than either the Citroen C1 or the Toyota Aygo which gives much quieter running especially on the motorway. The car is quite comfortable to drive long distances and is NOT just a city car. I just love to drive it.
