Bad Points

Staff arent very knowledgeable, point of sale is not clear I would say n my opinion it is misleading. Customer care line do not have the capacity to help in any way and the customer care managers are not "customer facing" (bit hipocrytical dont you think). All in all reasonable prices but you get what you pay for, expect that once you walk out of the door they dont expect to see you again, customer service is a foreign language to these guys!


General Comments

I bought a laptop from PC world with specific instructions on what I needed it to do, the advisor reccomended one and assured me it would be great. Super, job done... or not as the case was. It didnt perform as assured so was returned to the store for a replacement which they did without quibble. The next one was fine except I got very severe shocks off the power supply area and again had to trapse back for a replacement that just didnt perform. This was 3 months ago and Im now stuck with a machine thats pretty useless to me and they are refusing a refund or compensation for the phone calls and 15 mile round trips, let alone the injury that I could have made a big deal about but didn't. If they had advised me correctly at the time of sale I wouldnt be in this mess but the advisors dont seem to have a clue what they are selling and the point of sale is misleading so what hope did I have looking back!? The store will now have nothing to do with me even though I stood there in tears over the matter they could barely grunt at me and the telephone advisors are powerless.
