Good Points

Asthetically pleasing.
Unique size suits many homes
Good interior layout and design
Priced reasonably


Bad Points

Notorious for ice build-up which eventually overwhelms the defroster heater.
When Samsung RB1855VQ malfunctions, there is a constant beep (10 times) EVERY MINUTE!! It cannot be stopped without power cut-off!
Transglobal service is dishonest.
Two evaporator system sound cool, but double problems and costs!


General Comments

After just 3 years the fridge section defroster died and the light will not turn off. Very disappointed.

A Transglobal service tech came the next day for $85 to tell me it would cost about $450 to repair and I'd have to wait over a week for the next appointment. He priced the defroster and evaporator as separate components for $150 each, but can be found (I called Sears) as ONE UNIT for $51.
