Another cupboard on the original plan they decided not to deliver because after all the other parts were delivered they said i had to pay extra for it.
General Comments
I would advise everyone against buying a Magnet kitchen. The quality of the kitchen itself is OK, but the customer service is worse than bad.
Magnet continually sent the wrong sized parts. Rather than a week to fit my small kitchen it took 9.5 and I settled for a part missing as i was at my wits end. I still have about 20 spare doors and other parts. I did ask Magnet if they would pick them up but they weren't interested.
The sales people who were so charming when they want to sign you up were less than interested and bordered on rude as soon as the kitchen was delivered. The fact that they were so disinterested once the sale went through resulted in more wrong parts being repeatedly sent through
i didn't use a Magnet fitter as they cost so much more than all the other fitters. In the end my fitter left having accepted only half the money agreed to fit the kitchen because he had to take on other jobs. He swore he would never get involved with another Magnet kitchen again.
I kept in touch with one of the official Magnet fitters and he has also stopped working with them because so many people experience what i did.
My advice? Don't touch Magnet with a barge pole!
