General Comments

I had an accident ruptured a ligament in my leg. I was unable to walk and had to keep my leg in a straight brace. It was very difficult to fly home! Direct Travel Insurance sorted out extra seats for me on the plane. Then on my return I put in the claim for all the treatment, medical supplies i had to pay for etc even the taxi fare i had to pay to get me back to my resort. Thinking this is when you find out how good an insurance company is! I thought it would be a while and probably a lot of hassle before I heard or received any monetary offer.However within a couple of weeks they had reimbursed me ALL the money I had claimed for with extra for physio treatment I may need here!! How good is that! I will definitely be renewing my policy with them when it expires and would definitely recommend them to anyone. I also feel very confident that if I ever needed help again when I am abroad I have a good company behind me.
