Good Points
Inexpensive, lightweight, nice optics for the cost.

Bad Points
Not sure how robust the lens is going to be, but for the price it can always be replaced.

General Comments
The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II is an excellent lightweight general lens to pop in the bag, great for low light level shots and interiors etc and for the price you cannot complain. I wish Canon could do other lenses at a nice inexpensive price :-))

Shop around for the best price available, it can vary quite a bit.
