Good Points

It has built-in Freeview. Simple menu and one button push to set recorder.

Bad Points

Sometimes dvd will not play back automatically. So I eject, re-insert and press "play" button immediately. This will get it playing.
Although i have recorded about 300 movies in this time on a few occasions when FINALISING the disc the movie disappeared

General Comments

I bought a Proline DVDR800D fifteen months ago from Comet.
It worked without any problems for about a year but within the last 3 months it has gone out of order on three occasions.
On 1st occasion it lost power, then it would fail to record or playback.
