Good Points
Forgiving if in wrong gear, plenty of power when needed, comfortable, great with a pillion, economical, happy to run at 30mph in top, then open up the throttle and it just pulls away; no need to drop down.
Bad Points
Heavy and a bit awkward to get onto the mainstand (I'm a former bodybuilder), could do with 2 more gears!!!!! I personally dislike twin headlight as only one lights up unless you have main beam on!!!! Having both light up must be alot safer.
General Comments
As what's been said previously; I've been away from bikes for 30 years, got a GPZ500s last October and this week I picked up my 2004 black with fine blue metallic paint job, Suzuki GSX 750F. Very easy to ride and into 6th. within a couple of hundred yards. I've just filled up again after doing 150 mile and put 12lts in, which equates to 55mpg. At 70mph. cruising nicely....but turn the throttle wide and it picks up excellently. Not sure how it'd detuned but is more than quick/fast enough for me. Well worth getting if you don't want a 'super-bike' with the super-bike costs! I paid £2300 for a single owner full service history with 5.3k on the clock from a dealer.
