We will return in August 2009 for our first stay at Greenlands Hotel. Firstly, this is not the most luxurious hotel in the world. It is well maintained, attractive and very clean. Considering that it can be booked very cheaply through some operators, it is excellent value for money. Remember that the operators/airlines get the lions share of your fee - you actually pay the hotel a pittance, for which the Greenland gives you a hell of a lot! Comfortable clean rooms, idyllic setting, superb weather, multitude of excursions and activities in the surrounding area (four local towns/villages to choose from), excellent food(if you're one of the fish and chip or burger brigade then go to Skegness, this hotel gives you a taste of proper turkish food), superb value for money some great staff, notably the head chef who has been there for years and the entertainments team who are the life and spirit of the hotel. The hilly location means that people who aren't so agile can struggle, but taxis are readily available from the hotel to wherever and the hotel provides a free dolmus to Hisaronu and Olu Deniz. Otherwise, request a room lower down the slope when you book. It's the price you pay for the setting unfortunately.
