General Comments

Skate America is a Horrible company that is as close to being a scam as possible without actually being one. Although I received my shipment on time, an item was missing and another item had been inexplicably swapped for the wrong size. I called customer service and they knew exactly which item they had not sent. The representative said it was in stock and would ship right away leading me to believe that had I not called, they never would've sent my whole order. Additionally, I was told to send back the item that they had mistakenly shipped to me. They told me that I would be reimbursed for postage and they would send the correct item. Not only did the postage reimbursement never materialize, a mysterious charge appeared on my credit card from skateamerica.com a few days later. I called customer service once again and the rep reassured me that the charges would be removed and that I would be reimbursed for shipping. A week later, the charges remained and the promised shipping reimbursement was nowhere to be found. On top of all that, they charged my credit card AGAIN!

I am so sorry that I decided to deal with this sorry excuse for a business and judging by the reviews on this site, I am not alone.
