General Comments

This Beeman Silver Bear 1783 came with no open sights, and a terribly cheap scope. The trigger pull is about 25 lbs, and I can't group any barnd of .177 pellets inside a 3-inch circle at 25 yards as the break-point of the trigger is so inconsistent.
I try to eliminate nuisance birds (cowbirds, grackels, etc.) from my wife's bird feeders, and they get a very sporting chance as I can only hit about 20% of my shots with the crosshairs right on the bird and the rifle on a firm rest. I've tried to sight it in on a stationary and clamped bench rest, and the point of impact can be 2-3 inches on either side of the bull's eye with the crosshairs centered on the bull.
