Good Points

The looks.

Almost impossible to stall; it'll just jump forward.

Starts on the button every time, faultlessly reliable.

Bad Points

Some parts (ie headlight and mirrors) are chrome plated plastic. Not obvious when looking at it, but it feels cheap.

No fuel gauge.

A bit slow, but it is a cruiser.

General Comments

I got my Yamaha XVS 125 Dragstar with 14k miles on it, and it's been really easy to learn on.

It takes about £7 to fill up, and this goes for about 100-120 miles.

Although the power isn't the best (I can only do 60 tops), it looks fantastic for a learner legal bike.

I can't fault the reliability of it, but that's Yamaha for you.
