Qatar airways, like any other, is an airline that you have to learn between the good and bad aspects of the service provided.
We are all different and have different things that we find important to the service provided in flight and on the ground.
For me i like to check in early, relax in a lounge and then spend as little time as possible waiting to board the plane. Because of my finance economy flights is my only option. Once boarded my number one concern is getting as comfortable as possible and get into a sleepy state. Once food has been served sleep is my only thought and not entertainment

I check in at Gatwick and find the staff helpful. The frequent flyer scheme is excellent and now weight of baggage no problem, fast check in available and lounges available free to me. Staff in the air always helpful and i have choice of seat when booking my flight. Staff on the ground at Doha airport are not very helpful. For someone 1st time through Doha they could find it a daunting experience. I had bad early experiences with Qatar but it is a distant memory now.
