Overall Rating

Despite Taken getting some very ordinary reviews from the critics (or slated in some cases) I enjoyed it. And that despite a scene where teh boffins identify the town someone came from by using a recording of his voice - and in 15 seconds! Ridiculous.
But, if you want to sit back and watch a better than average actor having fun with a silly premise, then give it a go - Believable lead actor, good gritty action, although Some laughable plot dynamics
