The mini cooper S is a great car for those who want to have fun driving down country lanes and also want a practical commuter car. The build quality is great although the centre console does creak when cold.

Mini's aren't cheap but the residuals mean that when you do come to sell it you aren't going to lose a great deal. With BMW build quality bits aren't going to fall off along the way either.

This is the Mk1 BMW mini so it is the supercharged version. Whilst this gives you great performance and acceleration the super charged engine is very thirsty. The new model's turbo charged unit gives better economy with similar performance. So if you can, I'd spend a little more and opt for this one.
