No one wants to take responsibility - everyone at the call centres say a different thing and cant even get their fax number right between them!


General Comments

We are in the process of buying a house which had moderate chances of subsidence in the environmental searches. I rung the surveyor who said this wouldnt be a problem its what happens when you have an extention its more ground instability. Directline said they would need a letter from him, gave me a fax number. I faxed it, rung the next day, no thats the wrong number gave me another fax number. Rung next day no thats the wrong number, faxed to the correct number eventually and the woman said they would need me to fax through the environmental searches and the whole survey report. Absolutely ridiculous, I wouldnt mind doing that if the first person had told me but by the forth I'm not bothering Im going somewhere else if its that hard to set up whats it going to be like to claim!!!!
