Good Points


I have used Victoria Cars regularly for the past five years at Alicante and Murcia and overall have found them to be very good. Most staff speak very good English and are friendly and helpful. Good website, easy to book on line and you dont have to pay up front. I am often tempted to try another company but I have heard horror stories of being charged for damage not caused by the hirer and other hidden charges, so if I do pay a little extra, I think it's worth it for a company which has so far shown me good service and I can trust!
I once had my flight cancelled and there was no charges. Never found a long queue so speedy to collect car and parked on the airport carpark. I have been upgraded a couple of times but of course this means bigger car, bigger petrol tank, equals more money to pay, not helpful if you aren't going to do many miles.
The downside is as most carhire firms in Spain you pay for a full tank of petrol and are expected to bring it back empty but if you are only hiring for a weekend ask for a half tank of petrol and they will oblige. I have recently discovered that their prices for rentals do change which is most annoying if you have already booked at the higher price. They say this fluctuates due to supply and demand.
