It can be a bit boring when you have to keep doing the same thing over after u fail a task

I do enjoy playing this Pippa Funnell: The Stud Farm Inheritance game but the only thing is i cant
seem to get past the part where you have to catch the guy on a quad after he,s lets out the horses i find it hard to keep up with him and can not catch him.
Any info on how to catch this guy?
