General Comments

We took out a 10 month policy for the price of a 12 month one to accellerate our no claims bonus as this was our first car in years. 5 months later our petrol tank was holed on the motorway,so we rang diamond to enquire whether it was worth claiming and were informed the excess would be £360 (even though the excess was only £300 on the policy?).We told them that it didnt matter as the cost was £425 to fix so we would pay it ourselves.We were told that it wouldnt affect our no claims but guess what,our next renewal had gone from £377 to £650,and when we went elswhere and got it cheaper they then added £50 because diamond logged it as an 'incident' after promising us they would amend it in their claims dept.
