Natwest Online banking, from my experience has always been up to date with my account, provides enough information about transactions and as far as Im aware is fairly secure.

The log-in process is simple, compared to other banks i have used and the site navigation is also pretty straight forward.

The only problem I have had with my online banking, was actually a problem with the account. My account was blocked when I was in New York, for my own security was what I was told when i managed to contact them. Unfortunately they had blocked my internet banking as well so I was left on the other side of the world with no money and no account I could get it from. Depends on the personal as to whether this action is needed or not. Personally my view was that they had my mobile number and email address but no contact was made.

When I spoke to them and asked why, it was because "a sum of money had been transferred between your accounts at Heathrow airport", urm holiday funds maybe? From the time it was transferred to them blocking the account was 48 hours, and only because I had attempted to take out a sum of money that raised a "flag".

Why this took 48 hours? and why no contact was made? I dont know. On the whole though I cant Natwest really complain about Natwest.
