Airmalta tends to have some delays, although most of the times I have flown with them, it was never more than a 30 minutes delay. In that respect, I do feel safer travelling with them because I know that they're not taking shortcuts when it comes to safety.
Another thing which I do not like is the inflight entertainment, ie. the film. It does become boring when you're a frequent traveller, because most of the times its always the same film which is shown onboard.
General Comments
Have flown with Air Malta several times over the past years and never had any serious problems.Have found that their flights are much more convenient as regards times and airport locations than other arilines.They offer much more destinations on the telephone rather than online by taking connecting flights, which saves you a lot of hassle. The prices are very reasonable and much cheaper than other non low cost airlines, sometimes using the same flights (Code sharing).
Regarding the flight itself, the crew always made me feel confortable, and were very friendly.The meal was always ok and it was nice to be provided with snacks even when the flight has a stopover. There is always a free drink and on some occasions the crew came over offering a second cup of tea or coffee, which was very nice of them considering it was all free of charge!
